ABOUT
Moon Creative Lab is a venture studio that powers the creation of new businesses.
THE GOAL
Craft an engaging website that goes beyond the current Moon’s visual identity.
Create a visual design that vividly illustrates experiments as the focal point of Moon's creative process.
THE PROCESS
FIRST DRAFTS
Based on the brief I created 3 versions of visual design to choose from:
Experimenting with typography sizes and fonts.
Experimenting while sketching – incorporating marker lines and scribbles similar to a real notebook.
Experimenting with shapes and layouts, drawing inspiration from Japanese newspapers and comic books.
The third option was chosen as the most promising because it not only expands Moon's current visual identity but also bridges the connection between American and Japanese cultures.

INFOGRAPHIC
I made icons and illustrations for the website infographics.
ITERATIONS
I tried different graphics, layouts and color combinations to create a consistent look for both Japanese and English versions.
Together with UX designer and developer, we finalized the layout to make it smoothly work across devices.
COMPONENTS
Together with the UX designer, we created a library of components with all the color and layout combinations.
